health insurance guaranteed payments | Medical Guarantee of Payment (GoP)
Healer Medical Travel accepts client entrustment to provide Medical Guarantee of Payment (GoP) services.
How to Pay Taiwan Hospital Medical Expenses from Overseas
Unlike direct billing from an insurance company, clients can make payments in TWD from overseas to the hospital’s designated account, or entrust Healer Medical Travel to assist with collecting and forwarding the payment to the Taiwan hospital. Clients must first pay the foreign currency equivalent of the medical bill amount to our foreign currency account; upon receiving the letter of authorization, Healer Medical Travel will execute the medical advance service.
Our Services
Medical Advance Assistance
- Healer Medical Travel accepts entrustment from overseas clients to assist with medical advance services. Clients are required to provide necessary personal data, including a letter of authorization for the advance and the payment of the equivalent foreign currency, when applying for the medical advance service. If the foreign currency or the authorization cannot be provided or paid, we regret that we will be unable to assist with the advance service.
Assistance with Medical Document Collection
- After Healer Medical Travel settles the medical expenses on behalf of the client, we will collect various medical documents generated during the hospitalization process on their behalf, including diagnostic certificates, medical reports, and medical receipts.

Important Notice
Healer Medical Tourism will obtain official client confirmation prior to collecting any medical records. Following the acceptance of our services, should a client be denied a visa by the destination country’s embassy—thereby rendering them unable to depart for cross-border medical care—the partner institution or the client shall bear the associated costs for Healer’s upfront services. This covers clinical record summarization, medical translation, international mailing, Taiwanese hospital scheduling, and administrative service arrangements, totaling NT$20,000.
