02.Provide complete information
Clients are requested to provide medical records relevant to their condition as completely as possible, such as diagnostic certificates and diagnostic reports. If submitted by mail, please ensure backups are made in advance to prevent document loss. If submitted electronically, please make sure the images are clear and readable. Yuanfeng will issue an appointment confirmation within 7 to 10 business days after receiving the client’s request and complete medical documentation.

Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) involves using medication to induce and assist ovulation, increasing the number of eggs produced in a cycle. Accompanied by ultrasound and blood tests, egg growth and maturation are precisely tracked to determine the optimal timing for an ovulation-inducing injection (trigger shot) to release the mature eggs. Meanwhile, sperm samples are processed in the laboratory to select high-quality sperm, which are then injected directly into the uterine cavity. This allows the sperm and egg to combine naturally while bypassing potential obstacles in the vagina or cervix to achieve conception. Straightforward and cost-effective, IUI is often the first choice for fertility treatment.
Indications / Suitable Candidates
- Unexplained infertility: Individuals with no specific abnormalities found during standard medical examinations who are still unable to conceive.
- Cervical factors: Poor cervical mucus quality or presence of anti-sperm antibodies.
- Endometriosis
- Anovulation, such as Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
- Difficulty with sexual intercourse or ejaculatory dysfunction
- Mild to moderate male factor infertility: Slightly sub-optimal sperm count, motility, or overall quality.
Treatment Procedure
- Initiating Treatment & Ovulation Induction
- Clinic visit on Days 1–3 of the menstrual cycle
- A dedicated fertility consultant will be assigned to assist patients throughout the entire process, including treatment consultations, medication inquiries, and report tracking and updates.
- Initiate Ovulation Induction
- Once the menstrual cycle begins, ovulation medications—including oral ovulation drugs and various injectable hormone treatments—are used to stimulate the ovaries and increase the number of developing follicles.
- Cycle Monitoring of Follicle Maturation
- Transvaginal ultrasound is used to monitor follicle size and development, alongside blood tests to track changes in hormone levels (E2). After two to three clinic visits, the optimal timing for ovulation is determined based on individual conditions, and an ovulation-inducing injection (trigger shot) is administered 32–36 hours prior to ovulation.
- Semen Collection
- Clinic Visit on Days 7–10 of Menstrual Cycle
- Submit the consent form along with the originals and copies of both spouses’ national ID cards.
- For semen collection, arrive at the center prior to your scheduled procedure time; after identity verification, proceed to the semen collection room for sample collection.
- After sperm washing, the physician uses a catheter to transfer the premium sample into the uterine cavity. The procedure takes approximately 5–10 minutes, requires no anesthesia, and requires lying flat for 15 minutes post-procedure.
- Pregnancy Test / Pregnancy Testing
- Approximately Days 26–28 of the Menstrual Cycle
- Progesterone supplementation should be taken regularly during this period, followed by a pregnancy test approximately two weeks after the procedure.
- On the day of testing, an on-site urine pregnancy test is performed, while the blood hormone test report will be available the following day.
